Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Riverside Art LLC ("we", "us") for the Heartread website and apps. By using Heartread you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Who can use Heartread

You must be 18 or older. You must give accurate account details and keep your password private. One person, one account.

What Heartread is, and is not

Heartread offers self-reflection tools: a quiz, scores, an AI vibe reading and an AI-written manual. They are for information and entertainment. They are not psychological, medical or relationship therapy, not a diagnosis and not professional advice. Results are estimates and can be wrong. If you are in distress or in an unsafe relationship, contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.

Your content and the license you give us

You keep ownership of your answers and photos. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process and analyze them to run Heartread and, for de-identified data, for research, product improvement, testing and training our models as described in the Privacy Policy. The license for identifiable data ends when you delete your account. Only upload photos of yourself that you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of other people, of minors, or nudity.

Purchases

The Heartread Manual is a one-time purchase of digital content, generated for you after purchase. The couples report is a one-time purchase by either of two people joined by an invite; it opens for both of them. On the web, Stripe processes payment; in the iOS app, Apple does, under Apple's terms, and refund requests go to Apple. Because the manual is delivered immediately, web purchases are final once the manual has been generated, or once the couples report has been written, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. If something goes wrong, write to us and we will make it right.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Heartread: no scraping, reverse engineering, automated accounts, attempts to access other people's data, or uploading anything unlawful, harmful or that you do not have the right to share. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Our content

The questions, scoring, design and text of Heartread belong to us. You may share your own results for personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimers and limits

Heartread is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if greater. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be waived.

Ending

You can stop using Heartread and delete your account at any time. We may change or stop parts of the service; if we stop the service entirely, we will give paying users a way to download their manual first.
